The FN 509 Tactical is among the nicest common and readily-available handguns I have ever used. The performance out-of-the-box is comparable to either of my H&Ks with the Gray Guns (HK P30 Short Reset System + HK P30L Straight Trigger) and H&K (USP match trigger conversion + short reset plate) kits.

My buddy loves this piece and recently said “it was worth every penny”. He runs a decent Holosun on it and bought a 24- round mag: what a great range toy!

The FN 509 Tactical’s only con is affordability: this bad Larry has an MSRP of almost $1k. In reality, you get what you pay for.
